The MFA is thrilled to announce that we are taking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for club submissions for the 2025 season at two fantastic locations in Macarthur:

📍 Maxwell Creek Oval, Bardia
📍 Hannaford Oval, Wilton

This is a great opportunity for any new club wanting to join the Macarthur football community!

To submit your application complete the EOI form HERE by 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 4th.

Lace up your boots (or don’t!), dust off your stories, and get ready to reconnect with the beautiful game at the brand new Macarthur Old Boys Program!

This free program kicks off every Wednesday morning at 8am at Lynwood Park, the home of football in Macarthur. No matter where you played in Macarthur, we’re calling all past players aged 50+ to join us for a morning of fun, friendship, and a healthy dose of nostalgia.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Catch up with old mates: Rekindle old rivalries (the friendly kind!), share stories of past glories, and relive those magical moments on the pitch.
• Make new friends: The Macarthur Football family is ever-growing, and this program is a fantastic chance to meet fellow football enthusiasts who share your passion.
• Reminisce about your glory days: Was it that winning goal in ’87? That legendary penalty save? Let’s celebrate (or commiserate!) those unforgettable footballing moments together.
• Kick a football (or just a walk!): We cater to all abilities. Take part in some friendly matches, have a kick around, or simply enjoy a leisurely walk – it’s entirely up to you!
• Coffee, chat, and good company: After your session, unwind and relax with a brew (or your beverage of choice) in a safe and welcoming environment.

We understand that not everyone can participate in the physical aspects of the game anymore. That’s why we offer two types of memberships, absolutely free of charge!

• Playing Membership: This is for those who still want to get their boots on and enjoy a social game.
• Social Membership: Perfect for those who are happy to chat, reminisce, and enjoy the camaraderie without taking part in physical activities.

So, what are you waiting for? This is your chance to reconnect with the beautiful game, forge new friendships, and relive those golden football memories.

The wait is almost over! The highly anticipated Wests Group Macarthur M-League competition season kicks off in just two weekends on Saturday the 17th of March. This year, we welcome 28 teams across 3 divisions, vying for the championship title, we welcome Gregory Hills Football Club, Kemps Creek United and St Mary’s Eaglevale Soccer Club to the competition, these new teams are sure to add more local derbies in our weekly fixtures.

Mark Your Calendars for Super Sunday!

Mark your calendars for a historic Super Sunday at Lynwood Park on March 17th! Witness a full day of women’s football action as all 12 teams from the M-League battle it out in back-to-back matches, starting from 9am.

On Wednesday 6th of December we held our Annual General Meeting at Ottimo House.
