Our next MFA Coaching Spotlight in 2026 took us to St Mary's Eaglevale SC and their two U8 Girls MSAP Coaches, Madison De Lepervanche & Kayley Skeers! Having been two key members of the Saints Women’s M-League squad for the past 2 seasons, this season Madison and Kayley have taken their experience and passion for the game and used it to help bring through the next group of young female Saints.
With both Madison and Kayley being two young, current and active players at the highest local level, both coaches are able to lead by example and provide training sessions very interactive and relevant to the game. Madison brings a strong defensive background, while Kayley brings a strong attacking game. Together both coaches are able to provide the perfect balance for the U8 MSAP Girls. Most importantly, the girls in the team loving playing for both coaches, and often come as a team to support both of them in their Women’s M-League matches.
Both coaches ensure every single training session is mapped out and planned to focus on a certain aspect of the game, while also making sure the girls continue to have fun.

Madison De Lepervanche – U8 Girls MSAP Coach
Madison is involved with St Mary's Eaglevale SC as the U8 Girls MSAP Coach, alongside being a Saints Women's M-League player, and even further involved as a Committee Member at the club.
What motivates her to coach is seeing the girls learning and improving, and also how happy they are to play together. It definitely makes it all worth it when you see how much they are enjoying playing the game.
In her experience as a coach so far, Madison tries her best to have clear communication with her players so that they can take on her feedback and relevant tips to improve themselves as players. She feels the team has been very good at working together, creating passing combinations and getting the rewards with some great goals scored across the season so far!
When asked about her biggest goal for the team this season, Madison mentions that seeing them stick together and keep improving each and every training session is the priority. Also, to see them keep their bond that they are all forming with each other and continuing to grow together moving into the 2027 season.
What she values most within her players is the commitment they have shown throughout the season. No matter whether they have played well or not, everyone continues to turn up each week and commit themselves to becoming better footballers, and as a result, becoming a better team.
As a coach, Madison ensures she supports this by continually encouraging them with their effort and how far they have come this season. She acknowledges this has been her favourite experience working with the team. To see how excited they are to keep coming to training and each game and to see the smiles on their faces, is something really special.
Kayley Skeers – U8 Girls MSAP Coach
Kayley is also involved in the same way as Madison - the U8 Girls MSAP Coach, a Saints Women's M-League player, and also a Committee Member. It is this sort of dedication that makes Kayley (and Madison) such valued members of the club.
In her coaching experience, Kayley has enjoyed seeing just how much the players continue to improve each week. Also, how excited the players get each weekend at their games, and the bond that all the girls have together.
She also acknowledges the challenge of getting the players to absorb the information they receive and take on board all the feedback and help she tries to give them. So far, it has been a great season and one that with continued improvements each and every week, will help them continue to develop and grow both as players, and as a team.
Kayley acknowledges that her biggest goal for the team this year has been instilling a positive team culture and that all players get along with each other. She states that her mantra is that "when someone scores, we all score", which shows the positive environment both her and Madison have been building within the team.
With her players, she admires how supportive they all are to one another and also how much they are willing to learn. It has certainly made it an enjoyable experience as a coach with their players' positive attitudes and willingness to learn.
Kayley ensures that she praises each player and makes sure to highlight what they are doing well. At the same time, provide key feedback and areas for improvement so that each player can continue to develop even further.
When talking of her favourite experience working with the team, Kayley recalls when they came off the first game of the season, how happy everyone was and the joy that was amongst the group. Also, how both herself and Madison love it when all the girls come and watch their M-League games and cheer them on from the sidelines!
Together, Madison and Kayley are shaping a football culture at St Mary's Eaglevale SC that values effort, development, and connection above all else. They are proof that great coaching isn’t just about tactics and results—it’s also about creating an environment where players can grow in confidence, character, and belief.
Their leadership continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of their players, their club, and the wider Macarthur football community. We are proud to highlight their stories and how they lead with passion, purpose, and positivity.
