Football plays a vital role in bringing communities together across the Macarthur region. Each weekend, thousands of players, volunteers, coaches, referees and families come together at local grounds to participate in and enjoy the world game. The strength of football in our region is built on the passion and commitment of these people, and their contribution continues to shape the success of the sport.
The Macarthur Football Association Strategic Plan 2026–2030 sets out a clear direction for the future of football in our region. Developed through consultation with clubs, stakeholders and participants across the football community, the strategy identifies the key priorities that will guide the Association over the coming years.
This plan focuses on strengthening governance, improving participation experiences, supporting the development of players, coaches and referees, and advocating for the infrastructure required to support the continued growth of the game. Importantly, it also recognises the increasing importance of female football and ensures that the growth of women and girls’ participation is embedded across every aspect of the strategy.
On behalf of the Macarthur Football Association Board, I would like to thank all those who contributed to the development of this strategy and who continue to support the game across our region.
We look forward to working together to ensure football in the Macarthur region continues to thrive for many years to come.
