The 2025 Finals Series is almost here! Over the next few weeks, our top teams will battle it out for championship glory across three weeks of finals football.
When Finals Start
Competitions are split across two finals start dates based on when their regular season ends:
Finals Starting 15–17 August
These competitions finish their final regular round this weekend (9–11 August):
- M-League First Grade & Reserve Grade
- M-League Colts
- Boys MYL (Macarthur Youth League)
- Over 35/1s
They begin their Finals Series next weekend.
Finals Starting 22–24 August
All other competitions play their final round next weekend (16–18 August) and start their Finals Series the following week.
Finals Format
The Finals Series uses a three-week structure for the top 4 teams in each competition:
Week 1 -
Major Semi Final
1st vs 2nd
Winner goes straight to Grand Final
Elimination Semi Final
3rd vs 4th
Loser is eliminated; winner advances
Week 2
Preliminary Final
Loser of Major Semi-Final vs the Elimination Semi-Final
Winner goes to the Grand Final
Week 3
Grand Final
Winner of Major Semi-Final vs Winner of Preliminary Final
