This free program kicks off every Wednesday morning at 8am at Lynwood Park, the home of football in Macarthur. No matter where you played in Macarthur, we’re calling all past players aged 50+ to join us for a morning of fun, friendship, and a healthy dose of nostalgia.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Catch up with old mates: Rekindle old rivalries (the friendly kind!), share stories of past glories, and relive those magical moments on the pitch.
- Make new friends: The Macarthur Football family is ever-growing, and this program is a fantastic chance to meet fellow football enthusiasts who share your passion.
- Reminisce about your glory days: Was it that winning goal in ’87? That legendary penalty save? Let’s celebrate (or commiserate!) those unforgettable footballing moments together.
- Kick a football (or just a walk!): We cater to all abilities. Take part in some friendly matches, have a kick around, or simply enjoy a leisurely walk – it’s entirely up to you!
- Coffee, chat, and good company: After your session, unwind and relax with a brew (or your beverage of choice) in a safe and welcoming environment.
We understand that not everyone can participate in the physical aspects of the game anymore. That’s why we offer two types of memberships, absolutely free of charge!
- Playing Membership: This is for those who still want to get their boots on and enjoy a social game.
- Social Membership: Perfect for those who are happy to chat, reminisce, and enjoy the camaraderie without taking part in physical activities.
